Everything you need to know about Apple’s latest launch

For all tech-freaks, Apple’s annual launch is one of the most awaited events of the year. Prior to this event, several rumors, speculations, and last minute leaks go viral. So, by the time the event actually rolls around, the hype surrounding it has reached its peak. Unlike every other year where Apple launches its flagship iPhone, this year, the tech giant has chosen to release three new iPhones — iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.

Everything you need to know about Apple’s latest launch
Simultaneously, the brand also launched the new Apple Watch Series 4. Here is everything you need to know about the new products launched this year:

iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max
The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are the two flagship phones that Apple has launched and are now available for pre-orders. They will be available in stores from September 21, 2018. The key difference between these two iPhones is the size and obviously, the price. The iPhone XS has a 5.8” Super Retina HD display while the iPhone XS Plus has a 6.5” Super Retina HD display. The 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants of iPhone XS costs $999, $1,149, and $1,349, respectively. While, the iPhone XS Max is more expensive and costs $1,099, $1,249, and $1,449 for the 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants respectively. Currently, both the models are available in three colors, Space Gray, Gold, and Silver. Both phones have a 12MP dual camera with a telephoto and wide-angle lens. The 7MP front-facing camera comes with a TrueDepth feature. Apple has used the A12 Bionic chip with a next-generation Neutral Engine in both the models. The phones also come with Face ID, allowing users to unlock their phones, and make payments through Apple Pay. Both the phones are water resistant for a depth of 2 meters up to thirty minutes and come with an IP68 rating. They also feature wireless charging. Both the phones have a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and the battery lasts 30 minutes longer compared to the iPhone X. The speakers provide a good volume and the new Gold variant looks quite impressive. The phones also have a tangible improvement in performance compared to their predecessors, and as always, iPhone’s camera exceeds expectations. However, the design seems to be heavily inspired by the iPhone X, and these phones come with a hefty price tag too.

iPhone XR
Several iPhone fans cannot afford its flagship models, the iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. To meet the demands of these users, Apple has launched a budget model this year — the iPhone XR. The iPhone XR will be available for pre-order from October 19, 2018, and one can buy it from the stores from October 24, 2018. The price of the iPhone XR is one its most attractive features. The 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants of iPhone XR cost $749, $799, and $899, respectively. The iPhone XR is available in a variety of colors such as Blue, Yellow, White, (PRODUCT)RED™, Black, and Coral. It has a 6.1” Liquid Retina HD display. iPhone XR is equipped with a 12MP back camera and a 7MP front-facing TrueDepth camera. HDR display and 3D touch are absent in this variant. However, the iPhone uses an A12 Bionic chip with the next-generation Neutral Engine and comes with the Face ID feature. Another difference with this model is that it is water resistant only to a depth of one meter for thirty minutes. The phone has a good screen, a wide range of colors, and as always, the camera is amazing. However, this budget variant doesn’t have a dual lens camera, and the iPhone XR is relatively thicker than the other iPhone variants.

Apple Watch Series 4
The Apple Watch Series 4 was an impressive and surprising update from Apple’s launch. If you are planning to buy a new smartwatch or upgrade your current one, this model will be the perfect purchase. It is also the best pick for fitness enthusiasts. The Apple Watch Series 4 has an upgraded design, making it a worthwhile and stylish choice. The GPS-only version starts at $399 while the cellular option costs $499. It is available in four variants, 40mm and 44mm in sizes, and with or without LTE. It has a 64-bit dual-core processor with an electrical heart sensor. It also has fall detection and Digital Crown with haptic feedback. It has a great display, smart features, and a lovely back. The Apple Watch 4 Hermès is available in polished stainless steel and the Apple Watch 4 Nike+ is available in Space Gray Aluminum and Silver Aluminum.
