Low-fat dairy – here are some low-fat dairy products such as milk, yogurt, and cheese which are found to help in the excretion of uric acid. Milk contains a substance called orotic acid that plays a key role in decreasing the reabsorption and promoting the removal of uric acid through one’s kidneys. However, one must consult a physician as the same food can have different results for different patients.

It goes with saying that people who suffer from gout must receive treatment and medication to lower the levels of uric acid and bring relief from pain.
